Carrot Apple and Ginger Juice

I've decided to set up another blog along side my reboot diary and post recipes of how to make the things I have been eating/drinking during my reboot. I will also post the health benefits of each ingredient. As time goes on I will also post other recipes I find as I move on from the juicing stage.

Today's recipe is...

Carrot Apple and Ginger Juice

You'll need a juicer for this one.

Ingredients:


  • 6 carrots
  • 4 apples
  • 2inch piece of ginger
This is quite easy (if you're lucky enough to have a juicer). Just cut up all your ingredients so that they fit into you're juicer and juice. I recommend juicing harder stuff first so that when you juice the softer stuff it eases it through.

Carrots


  • High in vitamin A
  • Antioxidants
  • Anti inflammatory 
Apples


  • Very high in antioxidants
  • Beneficial in the role of blood sugar regulation as they lesson the uptake of glucose in your digestive tract and increase the uptake of glucose from your blood stream by stimulating insulin receptors. 
Ginger


  • Antihistamine and decongestant
  • Relives Nausea
  • Can act as an anti-inflammatory in the body
